Full Biography:

Alyssa is a dedicated Veterinary Technician and Lead at Healthy Paws Veterinary Care, where she plays a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. With a strong passion for animal health and welfare, Alyssa combines her knowledge, skill, and compassion to provide exceptional care to every patient she interacts with. She also contributes as a content reviewer upon request, helping ensure that the pet health information we share is accurate, reliable, and easy for pet owners to understand.

A graduate of CSU Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, Alyssa is continuing to pursue her career in veterinary medicine. Her educational background, paired with hands-on experience in clinical settings, allows her to confidently assist veterinarians, educate pet owners, and maintain high standards of care throughout the clinic. Her leadership and attention to detail help the team provide an environment where pets and their owners feel supported and cared for.

Outside of the clinic, Alyssa has a zest for life and adventure. She enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking through scenic trails or relaxing at the beach. When she’s not exploring nature, she can often be found attending live music events, immersing herself in a variety of musical genres. Alyssa is also an avid coffee lover, using it to fuel her busy days and keep her energized. Her love of travel has taken her as far as Oahu, Hawaii, and she dreams of visiting Portugal during the big wave season.

Alyssa is a proud cat mom to Blooregard Q. Kazoo, a 15-year-old domestic longhair who knows tricks like sitting and giving high-fives. Her interests are as eclectic as her playlists—she enjoys everything from line dancing to country music to rocking out to the Foo Fighters. Alyssa’s combination of professional expertise, playful spirit, and dedication to both patient care and educational content makes her an invaluable member of the Healthy Paws Veterinary Care team.
